WEBSITE VIDEOS  – available to all at www.KeyAwareness.com. See “Teacher Resources” for visual and audio examples of instruction steps.

FUNCTION COUNTING – feel the harmonic tension  in the music videos in three ways: (1) the magnetic pull of a tilted pushpin magnet,(2) the gravitational pull of an angled hand/arm gesture, or (3) the gravitation pull of a tilted everyday object.

COUNT-IN = two measures. The music will play 3 times:

1ST TIME – Arrow points to beat one of each measure, or to the beat within a
measure when the angle of the magnet symbol changes
2nd TIME – No arrow! Keep track of the changes with counting
3rd TIME – Magnet symbols disappear!

FUNCTION SPELLING pp. 4–15: print individual pages or view PDF on an
