Print pattern on regular weight paper or cardstock and cut in half

Place on a flat table or counter, a few inches away from the edge

• Steps for conducting

Step 1 - palm down in the air above beat 1 for starting position, in a relaxed natural hand position.  Tap the middle finger on the table near each beat number,  either bounce up or brush to the side indicated,  then return to starting position after the last beat

Step 2 - Conduct without touching the table - imagine the feeling of bouncing or brushing off the table (the ICTUS)

• Hint - SMALLER motions for FASTER beats

•Challenge - keep the pattern going while watching music videos from the right sidebar.  On what beat number do the chords most frequently change?
